Again, talking to Tyler this morning he says -
“Mom, I know; we could go to Chuck-E-Cheese’s today with Tera because they have lots of video games and she likes video games”
Kristin- “I dont think Tera wants to go to Chuck-E-Cheese’s”
Tyler - pause pause pause…. “…But we dont have to eat the pizza”

I came out into our living room this morning and the first thing I see is Tyler putting his pants back on. He says to me - “Daddy - I forgot to put on underwear last night. I thought I did, but I forgot. You know, just like you did for work that one day” .
For the record, every day that I have worked I have remembered to put on underwear

We went to the zoo yesterday to see the dinosaur exhibit. One of our boys loved it and the other did not. Can you tell which one loved it?

Waking up in the middle of the night is not uncommon for mom and dad these days. For mom, its feeding Max when he wakes up in the middle of the night. For me, its Tyler coming in to our room and standing by my head until I wake up and walk him back to his room. Sometimes, Evan will wake up because he lost his nook and he needs it back. For Evan, last night was a different story. Around 3am we started hearing some whining coming from his room. Packed with a nook I was ready to get him back to sleep. When I got to his room though I found out that it was not a missing nook that was bothering him. To give you a better idea of what I saw we reenacted last nights event.
So what do we have going on here? Well, we have rain boots; we have a wooden puzzle board and a book being used for a pillow; and what you dont see is all the sand that came out from the rain boots….

For those who dont know Tyler, he is very good at getting what he wants and turning a bad situation for him into a good one. While this is a very good ability to have, it is challenging to keep up with him after a long day. So what happened today? Well, it started with being too rough with his toys and getting a time out. “Tyler - Go sit by the yellow tool box(which was on the couch) for 5 minutes and cool down.” But Tyler did not want to go sit on the couch. He wanted to sit by his toys. So what does he do? He went and got his yellow tool box, brought it over by his toys, and sat down…
Then there was dinner. First, he started off with Hi Fives all around because this was his favorite meal (corn on the cob and hamburgers). Then, he kept on asking Evan if he wanted mustard on his plate for his hamburger. Kristin and I kept on telling him not to. What did Evan say? Something along the lines of ‘hamugmeur’. What does Tyler say back? ‘That was Spanish for Mustard’…
Hopefully he will use his powers for good and not for evil when he gets older.

Another day and a few more pictures. Everyone is now at home and doing well but feeding Max is proving to be a challenge though.
