Snow Day

Sunday, December 21st, 2008

Snow Snow and more Snow. And its not even Winter yet. After shoveling all morning, Tyler and I went out to play in the snow. Good thing we have some awesome neighbors that helped us by plowing out the end of our driveway otherwise it would have taken me all night. Not sure where the snow from the next winter storm is going to go though.

Happy Halloween

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Tyler and I could not go out trick or treating this year right when it started because Kristin was feeding Evan. So, Tyler helped me hand out candy. I dont think ive ever seen anyone more excited to hand out candy. He would run to the end of the driveway recruiting kids. He would yell “Over  here!” to anyone he saw and then say “Trick or Treat!”.  Then he would run back up to the porch and yell, “I think they are coming!”.

When we were finally able to go trick or treating Tyler had a lot of fun. He started off saying “Trick or Treat!” and “Thank you!”, but it then turned into “Happy Halloween!” and “Good Luck!”. Im not sure where that came from. He also blew kisses to some people telling them it was for good luck. Coming back from one of the houses he told me all this candy was for when he went poopie in the toilet. I think he told someone else that as well because the people at the house were just at when he told me that started lauging really loud(I was waiting on the sidewalk while he went to the houses). All in all, Tyler had a lot of fun. Tyler got a lot of candy and Kristin yelled at me as I took out anything that looked to be potentially dangerous…

Yes, he went as a dragon again this year. I dont think the outfit will fit him next year though…

UPDATE:

Kristin told me she heard Tyler tell some kids that the candy he was handing out was for going poopie in the potty. She also heard him yell from the porch “Hey Kids! I have candy for you!”

Pictures

Friday, March 28th, 2008

We got a new camera! Our old camera was frustrating me. It takes forever to start up and I always needed to use the flash unless I wanted the pictures to come out blurry. Not fun. Our new camera starts up in less than a second, can take three pictures in a second, and does not take blurry pictures (when there is enough light at least..) . Of course Tyler wanted to take pictures when he saw me taking pictures so he grabbed the old camera and started shooting away. Want to see pictures of Tyler taking pictures? Check them out here ;-)

Football

Friday, March 14th, 2008

So Tyler and I have been playing football lately so he can burn off some energy. I didnt get the touchdown dance on tape but I did get most of this running play. Its a little dark but I thought it was funny enough to share.

Boogies

Friday, February 29th, 2008

So Tyler and I  were in his room the other night when I noticed some stuff in his nose. I said, ‘Tyler, let daddy get the stuff out of your nose.’. He said ‘boogies?’. I said yes and he came over. As I was getting done clearing his nose he looked down and saw the ‘boogies’. When he saw them he looked at me and said ‘Eat?’. I told him ‘No’ and that they were yucky. We then went out to the kitchen for dinner. As he sat down he started saying ‘yummy boogies. yummy boogies’. Kristin and I just shook our heads…

And no, there are no pictures of the boogies. Sorry.

Funny Face

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

So we were eating dinner the other night and Tyler was giving us a hard time. Trying to distract him I told him to show me a happy face. After he gave me a big smile I told him to show me a sad face. He then frowned for me. After that he showed me a face and said ‘Funny Face’.  I laughed.  So what is a funny face? Well, check it out and see for yourself.
